Channel traffic dropped several times for no visible reason
Views fell several times over although the content hadn't changed. The cause was not where the author was looking.

Before
The channel steadily got 200–400K views a day, but impressions in recommendations dropped from 1–1.5M a day to about 200K. New videos barely moved, even though retention and CTR were above usual.

Stats started going up within a few days. The author wrote a testimonial himself: the channel's overall stats grew more than twice.
