Opposition / RHEI — your intelligent partner in the world of music business and digital content.
SRAV (Sound Recording Audio Visual) is a type of content that covers sound recordings used in videos. Companies that work with YouTube as official rights holders of such content receive SRAV CO status and sign a special agreement with YouTube.
YouTube evaluates all SRAV COs every 6 months and assigns one of three tiers based on:
The number of accurate claims
Data transparency
Compliance with platform policies
Technical accuracy and responsiveness to disputes
✅ Tier A means:
The highest rating
The maximum share of ad revenue:
55% of Google AdSense revenue goes to the rights holder
The rest goes to YouTube
A sign of YouTube’s high level of trust in your company
Control over where and how your music is used, automatic protection, transparent reporting, and the ability to earn even from user-generated content (UGC).
